The Mojuba! Black Choreographers Festival

Centering the African Diaspora and the Black Experience

Joy  |  Celebration  |  Healing  |  Liberation

The Mojuba! Black Choreographers Festival

The festival will explore how the dances, practices, and cultural knowings of the Black experience and the African Diaspora have served as a means of liberation, preservation, and healing.

We are interested in the sharing of Black expressive arts, traditional and folk dances, group and solo performances, workshops of both the African Diaspora and the Black experience, as well as cultural, spiritual, and healing arts practices.

We invite artists, choreographers, practitioners, and scholars to submit proposals and abstracts for performances, presentations, panels, and workshops which center the African Diaspora and the Black experience in themes of joy, celebration, healing and liberation.

We are interested to hear more about your work and vision! Please share!
