Master Class - Contemporary with Morgan McDaniel

Bio:

Buffalo, NY native Morgan Reed McDaniel began dancing at age three and earned her BFA from Fordham/Ailey in 2020. Her journey has included performances with the Metropolitan Opera, South Chicago Dance Theatre, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Netflix’s Monsters. She is thrilled to share her love of movement with audiences across North America in The Lion King.

Class Description: 

Through a dynamic warm-up, improvisational exploration, and phrasework, this class invites dancers to connect with the rhythm of their bodies and expand their movement possibilities. Rooted in modern dance, including Horton technique, and contemporary movement practices, the class emphasizes sequential movement, artistic expression, and individual discovery. Dancers will conclude the session by learning a combination that draws from the concepts explored throughout class.
