Rooted & Resilient: Adult Dance & Movement Experience

Beginning September 14

Group Dance Class

Come home to your body.
Return to your rhythm.

Rooted & Resilient is an adult dance and movement program designed for wellness, liberation, and deep reconnection. This is not about perfection—it’s about presence. Through guided movement, music, and cultural practice, participants are invited to release, restore, and rediscover themselves in a supportive, affirming space.

Grounded in African diasporic traditions and contemporary movement practices, each class centers the body as a site of knowledge, healing, and expression.

Whether you are new to dance or returning after time away, you are welcome here.

What to Expect:

  • Movement for wellness, stress release, and restoration

  • Culturally-rooted dance practices and rhythms

  • Guided improvisation and self-expression

  • Breathwork and grounding exercises

  • A supportive, community-centered environment

Why Rooted & Resilient?
Because your body holds stories. Because movement is medicine. Because returning to yourself is powerful.

This program is for adults seeking:

  • Space to reconnect with their bodies

  • Joy, release, and creative expression

  • Cultural connection and embodied learning

  • Community and collective care

No prior dance experience is required—just a willingness to move, feel, and be present.
