OUR PARTNERSHIPS

We believe meaningful work happens in relationship.

Our partnerships are rooted in shared values, cultural integrity, and a commitment to community care. We collaborate with schools, arts institutions, healthcare organizations, and community spaces to bring embodied movement, storytelling, and culturally grounded programming into spaces where people live, learn, and grow.

Each partnership is designed with intention—honoring the strengths of everyone involved while ensuring that the work remains accessible, responsive, and rooted in the communities it serves. Through these collaborations, we are able to expand access to arts education, support holistic wellbeing, and create experiences that center connection, creativity, and collective care.

We approach partnership not as a transaction, but as a shared practice—one that builds trust, deepens impact, and supports sustainable, community-centered futures.

All Our Babies

Mojuba! Dance Collective was instrumental in the successful launch of All Our Babies which was supported by the Transformative Arts Fund of the city of Cleveland.

All Our Babies is a cultural and care-based platform reimagining Black birth.

We center birth as a collective, cultural, and ancestral act, bridging lived experience, expert knowledge, and visionary practice to protect Black families across the full continuum of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

AOB exists at the intersection of healing, advocacy, and imagination—uplifting community-based care models, amplifying Black birthworkers, and cultivating futures where Black bodies are trusted, supported, and held from the beginning.

Karamu House

A dynamic, ongoing partnership rooted in artistic excellence, cultural legacy, and community impact that continues to position Karamu as a leading hub for Black performance while providing Mojuba! with a stable creative home to deepen its artistic and educational work.

Together, we will co-create a model for sustainable arts collaboration in Cleveland that celebrates a reclamation and invigoration of dance at Karamu whilst creating an elevated platform for Mojuba! as an expert in the field.

Since 2023, we have activated Playhouse Square theaters for Karamu's annual holiday production, created performances for MetroHealth Juneteenth and other community events, and supported exciting and energetic Karamu experiences.

Garfield Heights City Schools

This highly anticipated ongoing partnership has provided a custom cultural immersion residency at the Garfield City Schools since 2022. Each of the schools engage not only their students, but their staff and administration in an united effort to celebrate and honor Black History Month.

Students engage in rehearsal workshops with Mojuba! artists that then culminates in a signature culminating production with Mojuba! Dance Collective and guest professional artists changes in theme each year.

The program continues to grow with our most recent program supporting approximately 300 students, 25 professional artists, and over 650 family and community members in the audience.

Mojuba! works in partnership with schools and community partners…
