About the Event
We are excited to announce the first annual Mojuba! Black Dance Fest to be held March 26th-March 29th, 2020 in Cleveland (OH).The dance festival is designed with the goal of bringing together dancers of all levels, instructors, choreographers, and professionals to expand or explore the black narrative through the medium of dance.
This incredible weekend will feature:
-community dance class parties
-discussions
-masterclasses and workshops
-community pop up performances
-performance showcases
-Sunday praise dance power hour
-and more!!
The festival weekend will feature dance classes taught by top notch, master level instructors.
A highlight of the Mojuba! Black Dance Fest is a culminating performance showcasing bold, new works from the first cohort to participate in our Emerging Black Choreographers Incubator Friday, March 27th at 8p.
Some of the nation's leading choreographers and companies will join us for a showcase of their latest works Saturday, March 28th at 8pm.
