About the Event

Mojuba! Dance Collective returns to Garfield Heights City Schools with Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, a Black History Month concert and celebration. This year's cultural immersion residency brings the Motown era (1959–1972) to life through dance, music, spoken word, monologue, and historical narration. The performance situates Motown within the Civil Rights Movement, highlighting how Black artists used joy, excellence, and creativity as tools of resistance, unity, and cultural transformation.

The culminating program, set for February 26th at 7p, celebrates Black history, but American History through innovation, artistry, entrepreneurship, and community power.
