Kwanzaa Community Performance Project

Service Description

Join Mojuba! Dance Collective and Karamu House for an intergenerational creative experience celebrating Kwanzaa through dance, music, storytelling, and community. Children, teens, and adults are invited to explore the seven principles of Kwanzaa, discover the cultural roots of African diasporic dance, create original movement, and work together to bring a special Kwanzaa production to life. No previous dance experience is necessary. Whether you love to dance, enjoy music and storytelling, or simply want to try something new, there is a place for you in this creative journey. Together, we will learn, move, create, and celebrate our collective stories in a culminating Kwanzaa performance at Karamu House.
